Ad uno sguardo pi\u00f9 approfondito per\u00f2 non sfugge il <strong>richiamo allo stile vittoriano del primo Ottocento.<\/strong> Che sia questo il <em>file rouge<\/em> che lega tra loro queste tonalit\u00e0 tanto da renderle <strong>\u2018<em>old\u2019<\/em><\/strong> agli occhi degli studiosi di inizio Novecento? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il periodo vittoriano canonico coincide con le date di incoronazione e morte della regina Vittoria, 1837 e 1901. Durante questo lunghissimo lasso di tempo, lo stile vittoriano ha subito cambiamenti enormi, rispecchiando l\u2019andamento socio-economico del tempo e incorporando le varie scoperte scientifiche e culturali avvenute nell\u2019Ottocento. Per quanto riguarda il colore, fu l\u2019introduzione dell\u2019uso su scala industriale dell\u2019anilina a cambiare le carte in tavola.
